Volunteering
We can’t emphasize how important this is! As you know we need everyone’s help in making the season fun and enjoyable for all. We need your help in timing, judging, scoring, meet entries, time cards, and zoo keeping. We’d like to have more people trained as judges and referees so that the parents that have been doing it for so many years don’t have to work a whole meet or better yet not every single meet. Please let one of the team reps know if you commit to attending one of the sessions. You do not have to be familiar with swimming but it is a good way to learn a lot about the sport – THANK YOU in advance! Please note, even though you have attended training sessions in years past you still need to attend again.
In order to make it easier for at least one parent to volunteer for every child on the team, we have made arrangements for the Kids Cottage to be open extra early for all home meets. Just be sure to call in advance and let them know you are coming so that they are properly staffed. Their direct line is 428-7235.
